Who these terms are with

This site is operated by [add legal entity name in lib/site.ts], at [add registered business address in lib/site.ts] (“we”, “us”, “Pet XO”). By placing an order you agree to these terms.

Orders

Adding something to your basket is not an order, and our product pages are an invitation to buy rather than a binding offer. A contract forms when we confirm your order by email after payment has been taken.

We may decline or cancel an order — refunding you in full — if an item is out of stock at the supplier, if a price or description was wrong, if we cannot ship to your address, or if we reasonably suspect fraud.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and are the price shown at checkout. Shipping is added at checkout and any applicable sales tax is shown before you pay. We try hard to keep prices and descriptions accurate; if an obvious error slips through, we will contact you before charging you rather than quietly holding you to it.

Payment is processed by Stripe and is subject to their terms. We do not receive or store your card details.

Delivery, and when risk passes

Delivery windows shown on product pages and at checkout are estimates, not guarantees, and begin when the supplier hands the parcel to the carrier. Responsibility for the goods passes to you on delivery. Where an order is confirmed lost in transit, that is ours to resolve, not yours — see our returns policy.

Returns

All sales are final; we do not accept returns for change of mind. This does not affect your rights where an item arrives damaged, faulty, materially different from its description, or does not arrive at all. The full terms, including how to report a problem, are on the shipping and returns page.

Our training and care guidance

The breed and training content on this site is general information. It is not veterinary advice, it is not a behavioural assessment of your individual dog, and it cannot be — we have not met your dog.

Dog training carries inherent risk, and so does equipment used incorrectly. You are responsible for judging what is appropriate for your own dog and for supervising its use. Anything involving biting, aggression, real fear, or a sudden change in an adult dog belongs with your vet first and a qualified behaviourist second, and no article on this site is a substitute for either.

Always check the fit of any equipment before use, and stop using it if it causes distress or injury.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — and we are not trying to.

Subject to that, our total liability arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Acceptable use

Our written guidance, photographs, and branding belong to us; you are welcome to read, print, and share links to them, but not to republish them as your own. Please do not attempt to interfere with the site, place fraudulent orders, or scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [add governing jurisdiction, e.g. the State of Pennsylvania in lib/site.ts], and disputes will be handled by the courts there. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protections of the law where you live.
