What to work on first
Three things that matter more than the rest
Teach loose lead while it is small
Physical management stops being an option at fifty kilos. Lead skills must be finished before the dog outgrows you.
Cooperative handling for the vet
Train muzzle acceptance, nail work, and body handling as ordinary games. A guardian breed that has never been taught to tolerate restraint is a problem waiting for an emergency.

Behaviour that involves biting, real fear, or a sudden change in an adult dog is not a training problem until a vet has ruled out a medical one.
